Three Beginnings!

This picture seems to not be quite in focus but it gives you an idea where I am so far...with so many interruptions of late I am surprised I am this far! Last night I began drawing in some of number 4...so hopefully will get to paint on that later today as company is coming this morning. I will try to get better pictures but the best are outside and it was so breezy and did not know how to keep all three upright to take the picture so did this is the house and then it was not as goo...but you can see at least what each is about.

Janie, I really love these pear compositions! They are going to be so much fun. It must be a relief to you to see such fast progress!

Well it doesn't seem fast but I think in one more week I will be surprised...trouble is I might go with difficult backgrounds rather than simple... we will see what I decide!

I know each one of these pears will be special! Love seeing the progression.

I'm curious, just what kind of surface do you have the painting in the forefront attached to, is it gator board? It doesn't look like gator board. I'm having difficulty finding gator board, and if this is something different.............

Phyl, I ran out of boards trying to do 5 nat once so this one is just taped to plexi...so far so good and I really like the feel of it...I had to staple one to some foamcore backing ...so this is a test but I think I need to order more gatorboard...I believe Cheap Joes has it.
