TWSA

I was just notified that the painting, "Monday's Wash" has been juried into the 2010 Transparent Watercolor Society of America's national exhibition. I am tickled as I love this piece and was hoping it would do well!  The exhibit runs from May 1 to July 25th at the Kenosha Public Museum in Kenosha, WI  near Chicago so if you are in the area, this is a terrific show to see!!!

I forgot to mention that I am a lifetime signature member with TWSA and consider it a wonderful show for pure transparent watercolors. This is the only show I think now that demands pure watercolor.

Some are asking to see the painting so I posted it now with the opening comments...this is the one that I also did the PBS demo for.

Such a beautiful work,Jane. There's no way they would have kept it out. So happy for you. Good luck with the show. Wish I could get there to see it.

Congratulations, Jane. It is well deserved; this painting is beautiful. Wouldn't it be nice if all watercolor shows were for pure transparent watercolors only and gouache, acrylics, were in a show of their own?

This is simply a winner! Period! And, it was really surprising to see how large it was on the PBS broadcast. The colors are just gorgeous!

Congratulations Jane. I love this painting and enjoyed watching the PBS video of you working on it. Good luck. I'm sure it will win a prize. BTW Watercolor West is another juried show that only allows transparent watercolor.
